Day 23 – Boasting about Tomorrow

Although we are given instructions to speak with positive affirmations daily, our Father God still expects us to honor Him with the knowledge that we are still subject to His omnipotence. We have been warned by Apostle James not to boast about what plan or we can do.  Apostle James says instead we should acknowledge with each daily plan that our Father God is in control of our lives and we are accomplishing our plans as He wills. According to Apostle James, “Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” James 4:15 NIV.– More Commentary @ http://biblehub.com/james/4-15.htm

Boasting About Tomorrow

13Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. 17If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. *Special Affirmation – As a Believer, my Father God blesses me for acknowledging that my plans are accomplished via his will because I am not arrogant enough to believe that I can live without him. As a Believer, I fully accept to his plans; and I fully acknowledge that boasting is evil, and I am living according to His supreme will on a daily basis exclusively based on my Father God’s mercy for me as a Spiritual Sojourner in this life sphere.
